The music video 'Gravita' by Paolo Ferrarini was presented by the very likeable artist himself.
On first impression it is a music video that does not fit into the usual festival programme. Although the picture hint at sexuality in close touch with nature, the lyrics describe our sexual obsessions  we have in our dreams. We are able to give these complete expression in our dreams even without a partner, free from any limitations. However, they are also the source of our sexual desires in real life.
Paolo dissociates himself fom the question if he is a musician. 'No, in no way am I a musician. I'm using the music, as well as the video, as a langauge tool. To communicate my feelings and thoughts to others. I would like to try and make this world a better place with my work.' He describes himself as an active atheist and carries his thoughts in form of music in this world. Paolo Ferrarini is currently working as a translator in London and has always dealt with languages of all different cultures.
His CD, a poetic and babylonian mix of songs in different languages, is playing a lot on my stereo at the moment.
'Gravita' was a beautiful and poetic change from the usual programme and took me, especially after after numerous presentations and talks about fetish and BDSM, back to reality.
